Last Thanksgiving, we went to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in Manhattan. But since we were so late, we only saw the large balloons from a distance. There were so many people and so many children.
Most of the time I was on tiptoes just to have a glimpse on what was going on. Some of the kids were atop the trucks and some were even on the fences. There were also those that are looking down on us from their Midtown apartments. It's just nice to finally be a part of the traditional parade. And since we're Manila bound by early next year, these are some memories that I will look back to when this chapter of our lives has already passed.
