2021 End of Year highlights

Malapit na naman matapos ang taon. Here are a few highlights from this year

1)We were able to go to Blue Mountains with our small group friends. Sobrang sandali lang kase may mga restrictions pa din at hindi pwede mag pa ulit-ulit sa mga rides. Pero enjoyed the day pa din

2) Bike riding in Centennial park with Caleb. First time namin nagawa yun.

1) Meet up with friends in Parramatta park. The three boys had so much fun (Caleb, Judah and Ocean) We had barbecue and aslo went on a boat ride along the river

1) Went to Coogee Beach for Easter. Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. First time din namin mag stay doon. Naghanap lang talaga ako ng may indoor pool since medyo malamig na ang mga panahon na to. Nag beach kame pero ndi kame naligo sa beach talaga. Nagshovel shovel lang si Caleb

2) Nagcity din kame at nag ferry.

3) We also attended Janine's son's birthday in the park. We met with Denmark and his family. Enjoy naman si Caleb at takbo ng takbo dun sa park

1) Mother's day. Received flowers from Kenny and Caleb at ate.

2)Me and Caleb also had time to go to toddler time in the library. Usually it's our day out just the two of us. We take the bus to go to Fairfield station then walk to the library. After that, we go to the grocery to do our food shopping. Before heading back to the station, we get donuts first then eat them at the station as we wait for our bus. Funtimes

1) Nagkasakit kame 3 with flu. Also conincided with rising case numbers. We were both negative but still took us 2 weeks to recover. After that lockdown na sa Sydney. Work from home na ulit hanggang November. 2) We enjoyed our afternoon walks after work. Since wala naman ibang mapuntahan, going for wa walk around the streets has become our favorite part of the day. Andami nga din ibang taon na nagwawalking na din. Marami dun, nakakangitian na namin every afternoon. Pero nung natapos na ung lockdown, halos wala na din nagwawalking. Busy na cguro ulit

3)Because of the covid situation, Caleb also did not go to daycare. So he spends all of his time at home. We tag team to teach him how to read, write, math, science (doing science experiments). He actually learned a lot during this time. Ngayon ambilis na niya magbasa. 4) Nagstart na kame na mag hanap hanap ng broker for a homeloan. Planning also started on how to make the application

1) Birthday namin ni Kenny. Just celebrated at home. Ate too much cake. Ate sent cake too. Our small group family also sent frozen food. 2) Continue pa din ang work from home. Since hindi naman mashado busy sa work. nag leave ako ng mga Mondays kaya 2 days a week na lang pasok ko. It was really nice

1) Nagcelebrate kame ng 12 years wedding anniversary. Since hindi naman talaga maka celebrate in person, nagpa deliver na lang kme ng donuts sa bahay ng mga ka small group namin. Nag BBQ din kame dito sa bahay

2) Nagaapply apply ako ng ibang work. Nakarami din ako ng interviews. Lahat naman ay through online lang since lockdown pa din. Nagkaron din naman ng mga offers. I took one offer na 2 days a week lang for an analyst position. Ang work ay mostly excel at VBA. Hindi pa din ako nag resign dun sa isa kong work sa BWAA kase ndi pa ko ready at kelangan din namin sa loan

1) Nagpagupit ako sa salon-de-kenny. Sobrang haba na ng buhok ko kaya kay Kenny na ko nagpagupit since sarado naman ang mga pagupitan 2) Nagstart na din ako sa SUEZ as part time analyst. First time din nakalabas since kelangan ko pumunta sa office. First month na din ng pagbubukas ng Sydney for vaccinated people. WFH pa din ako sa BWAA. Si kenny WFH pa din

1) Nakabalik na si Caleb sa daycare. Sobra niyang namiss 2) Nagtayo na ng Christmas tree

3) Nakabalik din sa library

1) Birthday ni Caleb. Celebrated in Coogee Beach again. Had birthday LUnch with small group family. Stayed in Coogee for 3 days and 2 nights. Sobrang enjoy ni Caleb

2) Christmas! Celebrated at home with BBQ! Had a Christmas program with Las Pinas family through Video chat. With performance. Nanalo si Grace. Ginalingan niya talaga 3) Work shutdown period! Hanggang January 5 ako (Jan 6 and 7 may SUEZ pero work from home naman). Si Kenny Jan 10 n papasok. 4) Preapproval granted! Wala pa sa amin ang paperwork. Nasabi pa lang ni broker pero at least dumating na daw. Hooray to the end of the year! Excited for the year ahead!
