Manila, Manila!
Jan 20 was when we arrived in Manila after a long and harrowing flight. We spent 14 hours in the plane from Newark to Narita then I think 5 hours from Narita to Manila.

We were tired but excited! When we landed at the Naia 3 terminal, we first had to find payphones to contact Ma Loida. Then we saw them by the gates and off we went to Project 4. The moment at the van is so surreal as though we were really gone for a long time. Many places still seem familiar but there were also a lot that has been changed or just entirely new to us. So we spent the night in Project 4 made kwento for some time. The next day we went to Sm and to the banks to attend to some errands and at night we went to Las Pinas. We are really blessed by ate mariz's generosity by letting us borrow their van for our entire time that we were in Manila. So after a good night's rest we went to the CFO seminar for emigrants. We just needed to finish that first before we go all out for our vacation. hehe. Because besides our passport and visa approval, one cannot really go to immigrate to another country without the CFO stamp on their passports. After finishing with that one, the next day we went to Project 4 again so that we could meet with Kenny's relatives. The next day we went to SM hypermart and Jollibee with the
kids and also prepare for our La Union Trip. The next week was spent at La Union and Boracay (which will be tackled on another post!). The following week was already our last week in Manila. We went to church in New Life and also to Alfonso that Sunday.
I had my hair rebonded on Monday and we also met with ate Kate, Marivic and Dory at the new restaurant besides CitiMotors. But we had our picture taken at Jollibee (weird no?)
Sadly, at that time, I was already getting sick with cough, colds and asthma. We went to the doctor at Perpetual Medical Center cause I didn't want to go to Dra. Villegas' office again (after we went there for my eczema). Anyway, I was given new meds and inhaler for my asthma. By Wednesday I was feeling better, that was also when we slept at the Astoria plaza.

We spent the remaining days buying stuff that we need especially clothes for interviews hehe. We also spent some more time in Project 4 until Thursday. Friday is our last day so we just spent the day fixing our luggages and stuff that we needed to bring over to Australia. We also ate barbique from Monterey that Ma inday and the twins cooked outside.
Even though we felt that our vacation was really short, I believe it has been worthwhile before we embark on our new journey together in the Land Down Under! Til next time, Manila!
