La Union and Baguio Trip

The trip that everyone was waiting for was the La Union and Baguio trip. It was exciting for us cause it has been a long time since we got together for a long road trip like this one and also the first one that my family and kenny's family were going together. I think the kids really enjoyed it despite the long travel. We started our journey from Las Pinas at around 4 am Friday morning. Ang bilis lang gisingin ng mga bata. Wala ng sumpong sumpong. Excited kase lahat. Then we went to Project 4 to meet with kenny's family. Kasama din si Mina and Jay-Jay. We then started to go to La Union. We had stop overs but I forgot what place that was. We ate mami and arroz caldo. When we reached the resort that we were to be staying at, nagulat pa ung mga bata kase hindi visible from the outside yung dagat kaya akala nila ung liguan ng mga baka, un na un. hehe. But when we entered the resort, it seems like we have the whole place to ourselves cause there weren't any guests there. We stayed in 3 cabanas (which we didn't pay for cause it was reserved by a friend of Daddy Alex). Then we walked around to see the place which had a swimming pool, playgrounds, and of course the beach. We then ate our lunch which was a mix of our baon and food from the resort. After the hearty meal, the adults rested for some time but the kids just had to play. We ended up being their babysitters. When afternoon came around, we changed our clothes to go swim at the beach. It was hard keeping up with all the kids cause the waves were getting stronger by the hour cause of the high tide. I then suggested that we all just go in the swimming pool instead. After the tiring afternoon, we then had our dinner (nagluto na ang mga magulang) and rested for the night. The next morning we went to the beach again and also spent time at the pool. At around 10 am, we were ready for our trip to Baguio. The kids were excited cause it was their first time to go. Even though the twins went there before, they were too young to remember. Anyway it also reminded us of our countless trip to Baguio before with Mama and Papa. Sana nga next time kumpleto naman kame sa bakasyon. Upon reaching Baguio, we went to a restaurant to eat our lunch. Mina was the one guiding us since she was assigned to that area before. Then we went to Burnham park to go and try boating. I was with baste, jay jay and keith on one boat and Mama inday, ate, twins, grace and nika were on the other boat. Then we went biking. After that we were off to go to Mines View Park but had to stop over by the "Malacanang" in Baguio. We then reached our destination: Mines View Park! After that we proceeded in going back to La Union as it was getting late and foggy. The next day, we were back at the resort, we went to the beach for the last time, now with Mama Inday. Then we had our breakfast and got ready for our departure. It was a really memorable trip for all of us. I hope that we get to do this again sometime.
