Bohol 2016

Its been a week now since I went back to work. I hardly had the time to update my blog since we got back. Anyway, andito na ako and I'm going to write about our short stay in Bohol.

We planned a side trip in Bohol during our stay in the Philippines since Kenny doesn't want to go to Palawan (which was my first option) and I really want a holiday aside from our usual stuff in Manila so Bohol became a compromise. On the day of our flight to Tagbilaran, our flight was delayed for about two hours. The flight to Tagbilaran from Manila was approximately 1 hour via Philippine airlines. When we got there, we were welcomed by our tour guide/ driver for the day. We booked our tour with Bohol day tours. We went to the usual tourist spots like the tarsier conservation, butterfly farm, bilar man made forest, and of course the chocolate hills. We also had lunch on the Loboc River cruise. I cannot say that I enjoyed the food that much, maybe because I just had two teeth extracted the week before and I was still a bit swollen in the face hehe. We met a few tourists as well from Canada and the USA. We also met our schoolmate from UPLB who immediately recognised us as he was also from CEAT.

It was a bit of a drive going to these different places but it was a good thing there's no traffic in Bohol. Maybe because it was also the "off peak" season tourism wise.

After the tour, we were really exhausted but also fulfilled in a way because we saw a lot of nice spots. I've been to Bohol before but some destinations that we went to on this trip, I also saw for the first time. The driver then took us to our hotel, Bellevue Hotel Bohol.
