Sunday lunch with a friend

Yesterday I met up with my highschool friend in the M&Ms store in Manhattan. I've known Rajany for quite a while now and although we seldom  see each other nowadays because of erratic schedules (hers not mine), its really a joy when we can actually meet up and talk. So we went for lunch in a Filipino restaurant in Queens, NY because she said that she's been craving for Filipino food. We spent some time catching up and reminiscing about the highschool/ college days and talk about future plans. After some hours Kenny caught up with us in Queens and then we went to Prince St. to try out the cupcake shop that her friend told her about. The three of us sat on a bench outside this little quaint cupcake shop (with lots of people inside) and ate our dessert. If not for the freezing temperatures maybe we could have spent more time in there just talking.  Then we went with her to Grand Central Station so we could see her off to Connecticut. It was a happy time and good excuse to break the monotony of life. Smile.
