New Year's Eve

We saw the star studded movie New Year's Eve and it sparked the idea of us celebrating our new year's eve in Times Square this year. Since it was just a train ride away, we finished preparing for our media noche first then headed out to where it's all happening at around 10 pm. Well, we kind of underestimated the number of people going there so we ended up in 59th st next to central park, where all we have is a large screen projecting what was happening in the stage. Well, petite girl that I am, I almost can't see anything. When Lady Gaga sang, I just listened cause I got tired straining my neck. So after the countdown, we didn't kiss, as some were doing. But I was surprised that not everybody was doing it. I thought it was like a requirement or something. So anyway, we saw the fireworks which took aroound 20 minutes max, and started to head home. The PATH train was jampacked, which made me remember riding the MRT in Buendia during rush hour.

At home, we ate our little feast which included pizza, lasagna (our trial version of it), hotdogs, iced tea camouflaged as wine, and some fruits and chocolate. We had a video chat with Kenny's family and at around 3am, we said our prayers and slept. Time to welcome 2012..
